Its A Free World "F-word" banned in World Cup-free hotel
LONDON (Reuters) - A hotel is offering football-free breaks for "soccer widows" desperate to escape wall-to-wall coverage of the World Cup.
Any guest who overhears a member of staff mentioning the f-word -- football -- will be given a free glass of champagne.
"The bookings are starting to stream in," said Mike Bevans, manager of the Linthwaite House Hotel in the picturesque Lake District, one of the country's prime tourist destinations.
The sport supplements are being taken out of daily newspapers and, instead of blanket TV coverage of the big games, guests will be offered a string of romantic movies on DVD like "Dirty Dancing" and "Pretty Woman."

Never 3 Without 2 The heat is just there.
and i just cant wait for the match in Cardiff to start.
i know the team is like nuttin got to do with me.
its like im a singaporean.
infatuated with an england club.
totally no connection there.
but the chemistry is just there.
so not my fault.
but u can just be a parasite falling in love with other country's sports.
coz you know ur country will never make it.

everybodie says secondary is ur best moment of life.

almost everythings memorable.
i can feel how fast the time flies.
and how fast im gonna sit in the frightening,tense,hot,sahara-like hall.
but actually,we dont have to talk about the o levels all the time.
theres always sumting better in life.
but no.
u can try to forget bout it.
but somehow.
it will popped on ur brain just like gases from chimney.
everything that u see has realli got to do with it.
they say,you cant escape from reality.
for once,i realli hav to agree with that.
i do think bout it.
like why cant we skipped tis o levels.
and just go ahead with tertiary education.
but to think again.
u cant be having PSLE and a diploma/A levels straight away.

Sports Carnival 06.The carnival is over.
and its time to get back to reality.
theres of coz nuttin to reflect on the carnival.
but im just proud.
we still manage to clinch the second place for overall.
good job people!
of coz like any sports day.
the atmosphere was tense.
excitement.
electryfying.
and everything else.
you can name it the mini world cup if you want.
and of coz me being one of them.
and also any typical chairperson of aany class.
u realy wud want to lift up the trophy.
but tats ok.
i just love looking at the teamwork effort.
everybody helping out each other.
in their weakness.
lots of things happened.
terrible emotional breakdowns.
terrbile excitement.
evrything seems balanced.
but the end of the day.
all of us know one thing.
we did our best.
98.7fm have gone out of favour for me.
ive stopped listening to local radio station.
until the idea of listening to uk radio strucked onto me.
yes.
i did.
i finalli managed to enter a uk station.
ive begun listening to virginradio.co.uk
its less than a 25 days till im taking my first o paper.
and its gona be malay paper.
if im not getting an A for the paper.
im gona be totally upset.
With the thoughts of the CA marks alredi strucked fear on me.
but im glad.
at least theres sumtin to set my eyes upon.
on a beautiful prospect.
of achieving a lovable grade for my english.
coz yes im gonna try.
and sail test alredi showed 1/5 of it.
i passed my sail test and its.
20.5/30.
fine i know its not tat good afterall.
but at least the hopes of achieving of it.
is not impossible afterall.

Juturna finally,tis is my 50th post of the blog.

tomoro is the final test for common test.
and being the last paper.
I would hav expect.

But no..its a no with the capital letter N cause its gonna be a 3 hours paper!
And yeah finally i got my physic papers.
theres nuttin to be happy about.
instead,something to be regretted for not checking my paper and also to always put those units!
coz i got a miraculous 44/90.sibei suay ah!

Elections As expected..
the two opposing parties seats were retained.
I didnt realli care about sembawang GRC about not being won by the SDP.
but im glad that WP put up a great competition in Aljunied GRC.
enough of politics.
Tomoro is a sunday and i havnt start on my chemistry.
Yet.
Not even my DnT.
and im trying to figure out how to start it all out.
3 more papers to go,
and my first destination after the papers,
probably,
to go to the Sultan Of Selangor cup between sleague all stars and the malaysian stars.
Free for children.
Im up for it.
Theres the FIFA world cup 2006 gaming competition.
and i thought mayb i shud try joining it.
But im better of in winning eleven than fifa.
I wonder how much is the scoreline for the Boys From Brazil against the two singapore teams.
Lets hope its not a matter of humiliation.
